Thank you for all the great videos. Peoples minds are blown by how quickly I've been able to learn what I have over the course of a month or so. I point them to you when they ask. A few years back I started watching your videos but then things got crazy, so when I returned and saw what was going on I was shocked and saddened. I hope your health improves soon. Criminal how the doctors have handled your case. Probably stupid, I know, but I did read an article that said vitamin b1deficiency can sometimes be the culprit. Goodness knows if it was some doctors would not tell you. But I check everyday to see if you've posted any health updates. I really am pulling for you! Hang in there. I got real good vibes from you which is why I remembered you years later when I decided to give the whole learning options things a go again. Praying for your recovery. Take care and hang in there.

In Canada about a decade ago, one of the big fund companies started selling " STAR FUNDS" which consisted of buying a fund that holds 5 other funds for the " ultimate diversification" The kicker was you paid an MER on that fund and then indirectly paid MERs for the 5 other funds, plus commission to the brilliant advisor that put you in the mess. Standard mutual funds serve very little purpose anymore with the explosion of ETFs and index/sector funds which carry very low fees.

This has always been my thought as well. Especially if you start doing max contributions at an early age.... if you're going for exponential growth (not funds) why the heck would you ever want to pay taxes at the time of withdrawal?... there is no world in which those immediate tax benefits outweigh not having to pay taxes on my capitals gains when i'm old and chillin
