I'm Nepalese My father worked in Qatar and he came home about one year ago When he was coming home He also got Bonus For working there and he had no complaints about working there, they paid him Good enough per month Basically a Good Job and ofc some people died working in construction even here in Nepal person die working in construction cuz it's a dangerous job. This happens in every country not just Qatar but people will only talk about Qatar because Qatar just hosted world cup it's trending right now It Will get them views. My advice Don't listen to these idiots They are only doing this for views they don't care what is happening in the world. Working for 18 hours is a lie being spread recently by Western media for some reason. I'm Bangladeshi and two of my cousins worked in Qatar, highest one had to work was 11 hour one day and they usually work 8-10 hours. One returned to Bangladesh after 4 years and he built a nice 2 story building with the money he made. The other still lives in Qatar and works there but he visits home almost every Eid.

edit: You guys act like you know a lot about Qatar. There are some businesses in Qatar that confiscate passports of workers so they can't leave until they've worked enough, overworks them and underpays them. But truth is, that is not the norm in Qatar. That's the norm in UAE. Two different countries. I find it funny the guys commenting with Western names, do you know that French company Nestle literally blocks kids from Africa from drinking their own water from rivers and forces them to package it then resells their OWN water to them? Yeah, Qatar's human rights violations falls very short to French human rights violations but you'll never talk about that because I know most of you are hypocrites.

One of my relative was a construction worker there. He worked straight 18 hr by his will to support his family. Later he saved some money and started his business there and now he managed to take his family to Qatar and they seem to love being there.
