Most mechs aren’t man enough for Snap On tools. All the butt hurt snowflakes complaining about Snap On prices are prime examples of who can’t handle a working man’s tools. Lol

i remember the first time i stepped foot on a snap on truck. 1995 walked off in debt with a set of wobble impact sockets. then i learned the difference between cheap tools and quality tools. now im a carpenter, but still wrench my vehicles.

Imagine being this guy that owns this box. Getting on YouTube and seeing someone do a tour of your toolbox after it’s been repossessed 🤣

First off … my respect to all those that turn a wrench for a living. A doctor works on a human body that has not changed for as long as whatever theology you subscribe to; a mechanic works on any number of makes and models that change every few months. I really dislike using a 'back in the day' reference, but memory serves I had to buy a lot of tools to keep up. I had (still have) an extensive (and expensive) collection of tools … Snap-On and 'the rest'. I turned a pretty fair wrench and was trusted by the customers in my small shop. What ruined it for me, and why I chose another path in life, was the particular customer set that invaded Boca Raton in the 70's and pretty much sucked the life out of an honest person trying to make a living. But I digress …
Snap-On … the reps will let you go in to any level of debt you choose as long as you make that weekly payment. Mechanics are not stupid, but a lot of them, as this sophomoric video indicates, feel the need to own the finest (Snap-On is not) in order to deliver the finest. I saw the word 'predator' in another comment and that pretty well describes the Snap-On rep business model. What really sealed my opinion on their after-the-fact support occurred just recently. After contacting Snap-On for warranty consideration on a collection of screw drivers where the handles had all 'dissolved' over the years, I was instructed to approach one of the local trucks in my geography. I approached two of them, and as I did not show up on their customer list, I was politely shown the door. And I won't bore anyone with the old adage that Craftsman will guarantee everything for life; even with Sears out of the business, that still remains true. Yet the Craftsman screwdriver handles didn't crumble. I bought those before I could afford Snap-On. Now, me not being man enough to own 100% Snap-On, well, that's another discussion.

Repossessing boxes must be a bit of a bummer. I would'n t want that part of the job! I'm sure the guys know that you're a good guy doing a job that needs doing.
If some of those warranty tools could tell a story....some look heavily abused! Love the video's you do and always watch them as soon as I get the notification. Give Tracker a pat on the head for me. Now what to

I’m a mechanic and I subscribed. Couldn’t be more thankful for snap on’s warranty everytime I’m a dumbass and break a tool I don’t have to worry as I know it will be repaired

Been doing hvac for 10 years, see the snapon truck almost everyday, their tools look and feel cheap compared to regular home depot crap.

Those flat head screwdrivers are just mini prybars. That's what happened to them

Repossessed tools... Wow. I’ll stick with my “garbage” tools and toolbox that are all paid for... I could buy 4 sets of harbor freight screw drivers for the price of ONE snap on screw driver for example.

Get to the point man! I clicked to see a repo tool box not this stuff about warranties. 7 min into the video before your title is even relevant. 😏
