wirkt sich der fehlende wasseranschluss am gbc auf die öltemperatur aus? müsste theoretisch ja zumindest ein teil der wärmeenergie die sonst ins wasser gehen würde im öl landen.

For GBC do we need to put the restriction oil for it?

If I find and bring you a TD04, will you still make a full kit for me?
I love the stutter!

How would the gbc22 turbo perform on a 1.4L engine??
How long would the turbo lag be?

Hey SPS Team! Will there be a demo car available to test drive the GBC for NA/NB for prospective customers?

is an oil restrictor needed on the GBC's? especially on a N/A motor that likely provides high oil pressure.

It's possible to remove the water cooling to a gt2560r? Or think a sistem to stop only in a trackday condition?

What turbo would you use on a ND track car if the priority is midrange power and quick throttle response, not peak hp?

Sorry but after watching your video I am afraid I have to mention that you are trying to promote the GBC line of turbos. I have to make clear that I am not a seller of turbochargers so I don't have any interest to promote one or the other. And now to the point. I don't think Garrett ever intended to substitute the GT2554/2560 with the GBC17/20/22 turbochargers. The ones are about to be discontinued are the GT2052/2056/2256 line of journal bearing turbos. However, not only the GT25s but also the GT20/22s are still on sale, seven months after these video was made! Also, there is not indication that the Td04s are going slowly out of the market - many cars currently in production are using Td04s and this family of turbochargers has been used in so many cars (of various brands) and are so strong (actually dominant) in the aftermarket that the idea that someone has abandoned them for me sounds ridiculous.
Now about the results. Indeed, the GBC22 seems a better choice than the GT554, but even in that case I doubt if there is a 800rpm advantage in spool. About the Td04s, I presume that you talk about the one installed in the WRXs, the Td04L-13T. This is more comparable with the GBC20 which has a bit stronger turbine and smaller compressor than the Td04L-13T. The GBC20 maybe a bit stronger up in the rev range but the -13T would still be a better choice if we limit the boost at just 0, 7 bar. The GBC22 is very similar in specs to the Td04HL-15T/16Ts, and I doubt if there is any significant advantage over them. And the comment about being an advantage of being oil-only cooled is peculiar. ok, if someone is not willing to change the stock radiator, it's the only choice, but, who does this?? At the end in my mind came the Greddy Turbokit of the first MX-5 which had the Td04H-15G, which is also very close in spec with the GBC22, and is still on sale.
Also you choice for a fully forged engine....a GBC22??? Definitely not, the good old Disco Potato or some of its evolutions (GTXs/G25s) would be a much better choice for a fully rebuilt/forged engine.
