I closed my LinkedIn account. I had some privacy concerns. I was terminated and if I must add unfairly. Sound like a clichés I know, I not even sure why deleted it but for a few months I received a few opportunities but could never complete the full application which became to frustrating. I had registered with other platforms. What happened to me was horrifying and I did not want people snooping on my account. It was more a safety issue but I felt defeated when I deleted the account. Thank for a great video. It was easier then I thought it would be. Great job.

I do not know the reason WHY this is happening to me, but I have tried the above method THREE times already and each time, I get an email saying, "sorry to see you go..." etc. then several months later, my account is still active and I have to do the same process all over again. There doesn't even seem to be any way of contacting Linkedin directly, to speak to them about this and getting it resolved. It is VERY frustrating.

If you don't give them your photo ID, you can't get in to your profile to close the account. LinkedIn has become Facebook Pro. There is no reason LinkedIn needs your ID. It's BS. It's unethical and intrusive.

I used the wrong google account to log into linkedin, but i cant delete the account because it does have a password. There is no option under login and security, to change my password. Every time i try hibernating or closing the account it can see i dont have a password. It sends me a pin numberwhich only allows me to log in, to make matters worse is the same mail says i should go change my password under login and security.

But there isnt any option for that since i logged in with the wrong google account.

I've just gone back into my account which I have already 'closed' twice!!! It shouldn't even be possible to log in, surely! So I closed it again. How do you get Linked In out of your life?! Jeez

I don't get even the very first option on my page. The one u said go to the photo n then ....
Neither do I get account settings in settings option after my first attempt to delete the my account failed. Is this a scam or something that once created it never allows to delete
