Its sad that this is actually kinda true, how many medical companies that focus on cancer research will often times barely try to actually find ways of curing it because if they cure it then they dont keep getting easy donations.

This is why I love medic's character, he's portrayed as a mad German doctor who performs procedures and experiments on his comrades, but he is also a rational man who cares for his patients, he is a doctor after all, so no one is allowed to die on his operating table
