The 90's chevy c/k series truck was one of the best models ever made... i have one that is 20 years old now... and it has 307, 000+ miles on it... runs like new...

Try new non OEM intake manifold gaskets, rip out the spider injection, and keep the fuel filter replaced yearly as well as keeping your tank above 1/4 at all times to keep your fuel pump alive as long as possible. These trucks last forever after a few mechanical fixes

The very FIRST thing you should do to your 1500 Like that is take the Rust starting wheelwell mouldings off your wheelwells..All they are good for is holding dirt, grime and road salt and causing Rust to form. 2nd is invest in a set of weather tech floor liners. 3rd is change your exhaust to a true dual exhaust. 4th change to new headlights like you stated.

First thing I put in my truck was gas. Some of that tuner gas my suspension guy said would start the truck and make the motor run.

When he said lights I laughed because one of my headlights are halfway filled with water and only have one bright bulb at the moment

Nice truck man. It looks like you're really enjoying it and that's all that matters.

You don’t have to say the video title every 2 minutes

Nice Truck! The stock torsion keys can lift the truck 2” if adjusted. You don’t want to go any further than that or you’ll max your suspension so it won’t have downward travel if you hit a dip the front tires will loose contact. Also the reason the front and rear wheel-wells have an inch difference is because the truck is designed to have an inch of rake, it is not designed to ride level with the frame but for the wheel-well gaps to look level with an inch of forrake.

Cut a hole in the bed above the fuel pump, and use the piece to make a little door with weather stripping. Some people get lucky and don’t ever have to replace the fuel pump but mine failed more times than I can count in my 96 and also buy a lifetime warranty fuel pump if it does go out so you can take it back if it.
And never let you fuel gauge go below half a tank lol

Number 1 should be replace fuel pump they always seem to fail at 100k miles.
