Imo if anyone steals from you - they steal your time.
Verdicts should be taking this in consideration;
A theft of your bike: How long time did you sacrifice to get the bike?
-2 weeks.
"Ok, then you are in prioson for 2 weeks."
How long did you work to achive the goal of paying of that car?
-2 years.
"Ok, the you go to prison for 2 years."

This means that the crime against poor people would go down. They have to work longer to get the stuff that got stolen, right?

sometimes people ask you "how much time will it take you to do this, I will pay you for your time"... but they aren't actually paying for my time. They are paying for my expertise. My expertise is what makes me able to complete that task way faster and way better than they can. But they insult me with "I'll pay you for your time". How do I respond?

Money and possessions are worthless, investing your time in someone to make them feel cared for and happier is priceless because in exchange for a small amount of your time you've lifted them/their spirit up and if they pay it forward then your legacy will continue.

Don't be obsessed with time neither. There is nothing to achieve, nothing to lose, and you can gain nothing. Because the end is death. Live in the moment, be grateful for what you have if you do not starve, do not sleep in the rain, do no suffer disease - you are rich.

Yeah, money can be earned again but time cannot be earned or regained again. Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus are really the most great personality/philosophers of all time.
