Fox News Schooled By French 'Daily Show' On Muslim 'No-Go Zones'

The host of France’s “Le Petit Journal,” Yann Barthès, asked his audience to flood Fox News with claims about Parisian “no-go zones.” Since the Charlie Hebdo attack, several Fox guests have asserted that parts of England and France are Muslim-run, with non-Muslims and police not welcome. But Barthès did some fact-checking on his own.

Hi, I'm French and I live in the east suburbs of Paris, I study in the south suburbs. Consequently, twice a week I pass buy two of the "zones" described by Fox News. Moreover I'm a student in architecture and engineering, thus I walk a lot in the capital to draw or write some notes : I know Paris quite well. And what Fox News says is absolutely stupid, wrong and shocking ... I am really disgusted buy what this american media can say about Paris. This is totally stupid to think some quaters are "no-go zones" : the Police can be everywhere in the capital without any problem, population is not only muslims (there are many cathoric, jew or protestant churches you can check). Moreover Fox News shows image of the 2005 riots (without mention them), like it was everyday life in these zones !!! Some french people will say you that "zones de non-droit" exist in France. The translation of the word is hard to do but there are zones (in the suburbs mostly, but never in Paris) where there are many dealers, lot of moonlighting but the police can be in these zones (they have to be a certain number and well protected) but when there is an attempt or an attack, they always solve the problem ! The French police is stronger than any of the little gangs in the suburbs. The "zones de non-droit" exist but this is absolutely not what Fox News talk about : they are not in Paris and they are absolutely not like what Fox News reports ... listening to this shit, it is like Paris could be a part of the Islamic State o_o !!!

Sorry but you are wrong, "Verify your information, you are wrong about no go zones in France" is what Yann Barthès wanted us to e-mail to the PR of Fox News. Le Petit Journal has made numerous attempts to contact Fox News but no one answered the phone so this is why they asked us to e-mail the PR.
