Why people hate Bone Gnarls? They add a lot to the song, they arent too loud and they cover the empty espaces

Dude, there's a thing in music called off-beat (same name) but related to syncopation, and this indicates that the beats of a measures are marked with a silence, and the notes play just right after the beats. That's what the Bone Gnarls does.
