I don't know why Jalen thinks Dwight shouldn't go to the Lakers. First of all, Memphis has made it clear that they don't really want Howard by implying they might buy him out, and second of all, they've granted permission for him to talk to other teams. Why stay on a team that doesn't really want you? Why not go play, even if as a backup, for a team that is likely to contend for a championship? Also, despite the fact that I like JaVale McGee, Dwight actually has a very reasonable chance to start ahead of him, if he's really ready. I see it as a win-win for Dwight.
