I'm so excited to be sharing this video with you all today. This was my first time helping a veteran and I was so thankful to be able to show my gratitude for his service. The transformation is pretty amazing - but it's interactions like this one that keep me going. Can't thank you all enough for being here.

“Not everything needs to be recorded” is the most refreshing thing to hear.

He must have been depressed before you cleaned up and removed the garbage. It makes a huge difference to his physical and mental health. Thanks for your kindness.

I'm an Iraq vet and I can totally relate. I'm basically a shut-in at this point, terrified to leave my house. My lawn is out of control because it's impossible to care about such trivial things when I can't find a reason to get dressed in the morning. The fact that he answered the door through his window was hilarious to me. He is still holding down the fort in his mind. That's basically his guard tower. I hope he's at least getting help from the VA. I recently qualified through the PACT Act and it basically saved my life.

Immense respect to you for being a shoulder and an ear for that man and not putting his private moment on display. You're a real gentleman. Thanks for helping him.

I like that you pick up the trash in yards, throw stuff away and fix broken fences and doors, being thorough. Different from other YouTube landscapers.

The fact that you turned off the camera, and explained why, meant everything. Thank you for respecting his privacy. ❤

Hi Sean, I am a Vietnam/Desert Storm Veteran. I will soon celebrate my 77th birthday. I do all my grass cutting and all the work around the house. If it takes me 1 or 2 days or more, it does not bother me. I love for my surroundings to be neat and clean.

A morale boost for the homeowner to know somebody sees their struggle & wants to help, there’s always a story behind every messy yard . Good job Sean !

It’s heartbreaking to see the living conditions of some people. I so appreciate what you do for others.

When cleaning up those mystery piles of trash, please consider using a pitch fork instead of your hands. You never know what sharps maybe hidden.

"uncovering a sidewalk" is what I call, "Reclaiming a sidewalk" Something really satisfying accomplishing the one you did on this "mission." So glad you could help this Vet with his yard. Well done!

I lost my father at age ten. He was killed in a trucking accident and was crushed. At the funeral, everyone told me this. One aunt actually told me that he was stuffed. I was horrified and completely shut down and never grieved. My parents were divorced so my mother wasn’t allowed to attend the funeral with me. She had to wait outside in the car. I became super shy after the funeral and my mother never spoke of him after that. Seven years later when my grandmother died, I had a total breakdown and cried for a month. I was crying for my father and not really for my grandmother. No one in my family offered support or help. So I finally started therapy in my thirties after my mother died of breast cancer. Therapy was extremely difficult but my therapist was my guardian angel and helped me understand grief and myself. God bless you for sharing your story.

I cannot believe the neighbors would not help each other. Back in the day everyone took care of each other.
God bless you and the work you do.

As a USN veteran back in Reagan' times, I wanted to thank you for aiding this man. No coincidence that God put you at his doorstep that very day. Lovely transformation for him, for the neighborhood. Hoping maybe you inspired some hearts to help him should he need it again. God bless.

uncovering Sidewalks is my favorite part of a reveal. Its funny how crisp sidewalks edges can really class up a property

The poor guy probably seen a few things nobody should have to see. Glad he got help with the garden, hope it gives a little energy.

I lost my dad when I was 13 and it totally changed my life. He was my best friend and my hero. I am older woman now and I still miss him. When you have a good father you never get over losing them
