While this is my first time hearing of agar, I think it really puts into perspective how much we as humans interact with bacteria and how much we come into contact with it. Additionally I was shocked because up until now I thought you could only see bacteria through a microscope.

I looked up tea bacteria. And in turn found this. I found it fascinating how I forgot I left tea on a mug for a whole week and it looked like this. It really made me wonder. It was a whole ecosystem of different stuff.
