12 Dec 2016 - Snowing in Hallstatt

My first time seeing the snow-capped Alps which was very exciting!!! Hallstatt was so gorgeous - a quaint town set by a picturesque lake and towering Alps. Even though most of the sights were closed for winter, it was still nice to just walk around and explore the place.

I was initially pretty bummed out that instead of the predicted snow, it just rained the entire day. But when I went on the very fateful hike up to the furnicular, it started to snow!!! It was so so beautiful and magical seeing the snow fall on the alpine trees. There really is something special about a white Christmas :)
