You can change or switch your Apple ID account on your iPhone by following the steps we share in this video. Once you log out of the current Apple ID or iCloud account, you can log into new Apple ID or iCloud account on your iPhone.

One important thing to note: When you sign on with a new Apple ID it won’t delete any of the apps, _however, _ you will NEVER be able to update any of the apps without the original Apple ID‘s password!

Any app that was purchased or just downloaded (free apps) from the App Store with the other Apple ID is linked to that Apple account. The apps will function, but they cannot be updated.

The solution is easy, but painful. You simply have to delete every single app installed with the original account, and then re-download and install them with the new account.

So basically, if I don’t use iCloud on my device and all my files, photos, contacts etc. are saved locally on the device, switching Apple ID won’t do any harm right? So all the apps and photos that are already on the device won’t get lost, correct?
