I got this knife about 2 months ago. When I got it there was a pretty big mismatch / step between the carbon fiber and the titanium. I removed the scales and sanded them down until the transition was smooth. 800 grit finished the job. Otherwise everything is fine good lock up and action.

I have had this knife for a while now it's so smooth and sharp that I haven't had to sharpen it I'm not sure of the m390 heat treat but it's cool af anyway lock bar access could be better the price is too good to complain 💯🔥ST 995 Amazon $70

I bought one of these several months ago & I was very impressed with the quality. I ended up selling it but now I'm thinking about grabbing another because it really is quite well done. Sitivien has been killing it for a while & yet I still haven't seen many people talking about them.

From what I've been able to find on YouTube it seems they heat treat their D2 very well, so I'd hope the same would go for their M390. I never used my ST995 much (that's the name of this model from what Amazon has listed), so I can't speak to my experience with the edge retention or anything regarding how the blade performs. But overall it's a dang nice knife forn the money from what I could tell. Which isn't surprising given what Sitivien has been doing with G10, D2, & 14C28N for several years now.

62 on m390 would be quite rare thing. Spyderco his it now and than but from tested i saw even them are usually somewhere between 60-61. And they are pretty much only production knife company i saw tested at 61 and more.

St996 m390 tested at 58.2 so is expect this one too be similar.

Pro tip: if your crafty LOL you can fill voids in carbon fiber with Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Brands like Star bond even have thin, medium and thick grades and you can get it in black. Just be super careful with sanding after it dries and don't super glue your screws, nuts & bolts, washers, etc. You can take out screws and give them a thin coat of oil and wipe off the excess.

LTK did a test of the m390 on another ST knife model, there was something around 58+hrc...

I'm thinking the only way you get M390 at this price is to short cut the heat treat. I'd love to see it tested. If it is 60 or better, that would be a great deal.
