Wow! NBC had all the great shows. This is my Era. Miss those days of comfort and serenity. Good family shows. 💜💜
Thank you NBC and all the great actors, writers, directors, and all that made these shows successful.

Showcasing so many of the performers from 01:15 to 01:29 was always my favorite part.

One of my most favorite shows (have seen it all on DVD) started in the middle of this Be There season-- Riptide (which started on my third birthday [Tuesday, Jan. 3, 1984]).

I've seen each and every single episode of Gimme A Break!, and Mama's Family. I've also seen the High School USA telemovie with Family Ties' Michael J. Fox, The Facts of Life's Nancy McKeon, Revenge of the Nerds' Anthony Edwards, and Gimme A Break!'s Lauri Hendler; and the High School USA sole pilot which never picked up as a series, this time starring Leave it to Beaver's Barbara Billingsley and Jerry Mathers, and Bewitched's Dick York. All which aired on NBC that season.

The start to a peak that lasted over 20 years.

The only two shows to survive that season were mid-season replacements; Riptide and Night Court.
