What I've learned from this video is that if a guy approaches your stand with a gopro strapped to his chest, up the prices

Your complaining about 25 bucks for that Sony yet it goes for 80-100 plus shipping. Still would have made a good profit. Just saying

I’d like to congratulate this guy for making me realize how happy I am that people have real jobs

Can’t believe you took the entire free box of cassettes?! There’s maximising profits, then there’s bad karma (pretty selfish).

I had one of those wheel of fortune games. I sure in the heck wouldn't pay $12. Plus shipping for it.

Those tapes are out of this world in terms of relevance. Everyone recognizes every title even if they like it or not. Easy money forsure

I negotiate depending on product and price ...most of the time i buy for myself only i..i collect cameras...etc, so if a camera sells for 100 dollars and its in good condition and u ask 60 for it ...yes ..if u ask 80 and it sells for 100 ill ask maybe 70 or 75 and if theres damage well ya ..most of the time if i like the camera and it works ill pay what ever reasonable price you ask

You should have looked through all the old books! People used to hide money in them and some guy made 300 dollars from one book alone. His overall profit so far is more than 1000

Those free cassettes are like gold to music lovers/cd, vinyl and cassette collectors, like myself...

Yeah that's how much it sells for but no one is going to buy it so your profit is in minus

All the comments criticizing the negotiation gloss right over the fact that a percentage of the electronics purchased through yard sales, thrift stores, OfferUp/FBM/CL etc do not work. And it can be a large percentage if youre not careful. Factor in the 15%+ eBay is getting and you're not too sharp paying 25 for something that sells around 85 on eBay even if you do test it. When you factor in cost of doing business it isn't worth it. A ton of comments by people who have zero idea what they're talking about on the topic yet think they know so much. It's the American way now sadly
