Honestly, I'm not sure if people say this enough, but you are a godsend! All this information you provide is so wonderful in each and every single one of your critique hours. Not only do you point out the mistakes with how to improve them, you explain why and the science behind each decision. It's honestly incredibly helpful. Really, the only thing I'm sad about is the fact that I always end up being too late for these streams. Nevertheless, thank you for everything you provide!

Thank you so much for the valuable feedback, the saturation issue is due to my shitty 10 year old laptop, everything looks desaturated, I will work on the shadows and lighting, change my skin color palette, and get a decent monitor :). Thanks again.

you were soo zoomed out on that orange guy I felt like I was missing all the action. You know the zoom out is real when your navigator is half again the size of your painting lmao

Hi +Istebrak i really love your videos, learnt alot from them and have really improved.
I know you have a tutorial on realistic clothing already and that wasn't quite long ago however can you do one with coloured clothing and on a character aswell. That will help alot if you could since on my character i couldn't get the clothing looking good in colour no matter what i did. Thanks

But what is when I want to intentionally give my drawing a high contrast look? Like in High key photography? Not related to the form study, it's clear that for pracrice you wouldn't do it. But just in general about wether or not high key is a good idea (it's pretty hard to do decently in photography too, so I guess you should stay away from it?)

Anyone knows of a book similar to "color and light" by James Gurney but with real life photos instead of paintings for references?
