What 1000+ Hours of Fallout 4 Settlement Building Looks Like

I can't help but feel like this is what the game should have strived for. The central theme of Fallout 4 is repairing broken bonds and rebuilding the society, but by the end of the game, the Commonwealth barely changed, you just shifted the balance of powers between factions and probably created a few new settlements, but the effects are barely visible. If Bethesda had actually tried harder, this is what the Commonwealth should look like when you're done.

To be fair each location looks amazing. I'm lucky because I make mine in Fallout 4 VR, so I get to lean on railings and sit on benches admiring my work as if I was there.

I really liked the fact every location was instantly recognizable. And that made it even more spectacular( I giggled out loud). I have five years of building and many playthroughs, but have not made it this far. I spent a hour placing, metal, fence planks an wood just to cover the carport of the Smith house next door. I was proud of my cistern, and tanks with pipes and valves for the watershed. The Ck sure saves on limit but I so slow being a normy. I'm 57 years old and I run 180 mods.And I cheat full time.

So many stunning builds, really admire how every settlement is thought out :) I just hit 1600hrs myself but I have only just started building properly and videos like yours are great for inspiration :) Keep up the great work! :D

I'm always glad to discover a new settlement builder and excited I'm finally moving on from a low-end PC to something more higher end (albeit it not current) that I can try my hand at settlements like yours, as opposed to the micro builds I usually do.

Really cool and inspirational. Every time I set on building something cool I get discouraged by the building mode UI.. its such a maze with mods

Very impressive mod for the Minutemen
I've seen alot of Mods out there like one that literally transforms Sanctuary Hills into a Moded Establishment. Complete with an overhaul of the flora, homes and walls. And the Headquarters located at the Bridge.
Outstanding Mod you have. Hopefully this mod is compatible with Xbox. Look forward to trying it out soon.

Amazing and great inspiration. Played this game off and on since release and put 400+ hours into my latest run. Over 3/4's of which has been settlement building. Not sure why I got so into it this run but I think it's just been relaxing. I've only been using glitches to build with a settlement budget mod and it's been a blast. I can tell I'll be implementing more settlement mods in the future though.
