The script has been written and the locations selected for this year’s September travel diaries. I am unapologetically retracing a visited voyage since this is not the year for discovering different. I'm battled and bruised from the challenges of home remodeling and this year I require some compassion from some serene sanctuaries. With over twenty-five different Greek Islands now occupying my footprints and having returned to my favorites a multitude of times... one might pose the question - "Why Greece?"

It's true, the people the islands even stepping off the plane Greece has special smell, sounds strange but it really has got a smell and there's no place like it. We're missing it this year by going to Italy twice already. But I will never forget Rhodes 1996 I fell in love with the islands. Enjoy.

I loved watching this 😊 your video definitely resonates with me. I’m a secret ancient history /archaeology geek and I became obsessed with Italy and Greece in particular from my teen years. I watched Summer Lovers as a teen and dreamt of visiting Santorini... 20yrs later and I did and it blew me away!! I’m ticking off a bucket list dream of visiting Pompeii/Amalfi Coast in October but, I’ve just booked a trip to Rhodes next year and I’m hoping to island hop one or two islands in that week. I just love the chilled vibe of the islands, the food is amazing and the locals are so friendly. I just love Greece and can’t wait to spend more time visiting more islands particularly when my children are older. Looking forward to following your vlogs when you go back in September x
