This chilling ROSCOSMOS video portends the break up of International Space Station

In a shocking move Russian gov't-controlled RIA Novosti posted a video made by Roscosmos where cosmonauts say goodbye to Mark Vande Hei on #ISS, depart, and then the Russian segment detaches from the rest of ISS. Roscosmos boss DMitry Rogozin is clearly threatening the ISS program.
In this video, the cosmonauts say goodbye to the astronauts (including Mark Vande Hei)
and undock the Russian segment from the ISS - including Zarya which is NASA's property. The people in the Control Center applause. The Russian segment stays in orbit while the American segment significantly lowers its altitude.
This all happens to the song "Goodbye" (removed in my video due to IP issues) by Lev Leshchenko, which contains such text: "Do you remember two stars, that floated in the sky and suddenly faded? Only now I understand that it was me and you". In the end, there is an inscription: "Based on unreal events".

This is the level of Russian space exploration today...

I am first sorry for the cosmonauts. It is so not fair for them. Last year film makers and actors were sent to space while those seats were cosmonauts’ and not other people’s (who may be rich but never did anything for space exploration).

the astronauts for months saw no one other than their co-workers in space. it is certain that there is an inner bond between them, they are not enemies but they have to separate because of political problems that they themselves also do not know. may the conflicts of this world subside so that they can meet and work again.

Perhaps Russia could join Chinese Tiangong with new modules

Putin has lost his mind I feel sorry for the average Russian. This is why we must not elect deeply disturbed people and religious fanatics to high offices.

If Russia wants to scrap the ISS, try to keep the other modules in orbit, if not replace them, just never allow any Russian access or partnership with the international community again. SpaceX can boost heavier cargo into orbit for less anyway

ah the old "were going to destroy the ISS if we don't get our way" attitude coming from Rogozin.

It's the Russian government fault not it's people.

ISS is in cross road anyway. US has passed the bill to extending the life of ISS until 2030, it will be decommissioned in 2031. While Russia has state they will not likely to continue with ISS after 2025, even before the Sanction on them.

Russia have a new space station in plan. There were consideration of bringing the current Russian module to the new station.
Given the circumstance, Russian may certainly be decoupling from ISS in 2025, or probably earlier, with or without the new station.
The video may be about the decoupling after 2025.

Musk say he can change the modul. But if fail then he only say sorry our rocket only can boost Doge lol.

US side has other rockets available with external outward thrusters for propulsion and attitude changes. Not great but can be done. Russian side needs power, all solar arrays are on U.S. side.
