I had this on cassette, back in the day, when I lived in Santa Fe, NM. I literally wore the tape out. Nice to hear it in remastered form, though the speed is a bit faster than I recall. Still, it's a treat, thank you!

I had already several albums by Vangelis when this one was released back in 1988. The LP had a large booklet inside with only photographs, much better than the cover. the CD had 2 extra tracks. I think it's one of his best... Very accessible and yet very varied, with a few of his trademark epic pieces sounding like symphonic classical music. Message is a masterpiece. A pity he had this bad habit to write that he performed everything, on his albums, omitting the singers he used... On Glorianna, for instance, there's actually a female opera singer ! Her name is apparently Markella Hatziano.
