I’ve been loving the Dead Rebel effects lately, but I wish they were all available in the U.S. like some of them are on Vanishing Inc. the Pound to USD is ridiculous now. Annabel will cost me $85 if I order it direct from them (I just ordered “The Recurring” which cost me $126.) Just not worth that much…

I love the little story part to these tricks. Though I prefer a larger narrative that carries multiple effects.

I love these dead rebel props. As to the billet/backing issue: If I was doing a table hopping type scenario, I would cut myself a load of billets to the size of the backing prop, and spray them with *repositionable* spray adhesive (which is about $10 a can) - basically make yourself a pile of custom post its. They can be stuck to each other, peeled off the stack and affixed to the backing. To reset you just peel off and throw away the one you just used, and add stick on another. Only make enough for a single show as after a few hours they tend to either fall apart completely, or stick permanently depending on the brand of adhesive!

Having them exactly fit the backing removes any notion that the trick depends on there being something removeable attached to the backing.

(That said, there are plenty of other tricks you can do with repositionable spray adhesive where you *do* depend on that property :) )

Is the prediction just the thought of letter? No predicton of the last object taken? If thats the case it makes no sense

I don't get it. I rewinded the explanation and still don't understand the effect. What's the magic that happens? Is it that u predict a letter? And how does the letter connect with the object? I'm confused lol

Very expensive billet prediction. I think the sourcing is why their products are so expensive. Considering this can be done with a NW and a piece of paper
