This film is so beautiful. I remember reading the entire book of Heidi when I was sick in bed one Sunday as a kid. I had a picture of Heidi in my mind. Every single movie has been an epic disappointment because she is never "my" Heidi. This one is. Exactly like the book illustrations! The whole feel of the film is gorgeous.

I heard of the story" Heidi " already when I was young and watched the animated version as well but I never ready the story only seen how it is described through this film. I find it so funny that I have the same name like here but mine is spelled a lot different and that, my name comes from a story and which is one of the reasons why I cherish it and understand how truly special my name is because of it 😊
