Thank you for this Steve. While I’ve been trying to get myself spiritually figured out, and I’ve been following the Orthodox Church for some time now and I was baptized as a baby, I finally had my breakthrough. I was visiting my uncles parish to celebrate his 30 years of priesthood. One of the most beautiful orthodox churches I have been in with so much iconography, and while standing there listening to the liturgy and the sermon I felt an overwhelming amount of joy. I even shed a tear or two and felt the presence of God. This past Sunday I attended Liturgy at another nearby parish and I can’t explain how wonderful it was. Now I need to get back on the path so I can receive holy communion. Attending liturgy, I need to confess my sins. I’ve found myself home and the missing puzzle piece in my life.❤️☦️

when you said "God is invisible..." what stood out is your emphasis on in. And my brain automatically broke it down to be (God is in the visible).
just how my brain works (or how I receive messages I suppose).

I'm currently sick and I would like to know why God made diseases? It doesn't seem to serve a purpose other than stoping us from being productive. Thank you for making this series it has helped me so much!

It’s me again! Lol . I never heard of sacraments explained in this way. I’m still confused about the Eucharist (or am I confusing this with the Lord’s supper. Please correct me if I’m wrong). Does one have to believe it’s the actual blood and body of the Lord to be accepted into the Orthodox Church? I’m coming from a reformed background and I’m pretty sure you know that we see the bread and wine as symbolic and not turning into actual blood and wine. If you see this thanks for taking the time to explain!

My priest will not give us Holy Unction oil to take home on during the Holy Unction sacrament as he states you need to be there.

I think i prefer catholic understanting of sacraments: they are seenable sign of unseenable grace, of unseenable God's acting.

PREACHING IN NYC.
Dear Friend, JESUS Loves you and so do I. Because you are saying SACRAMENTS, I know you don't know GOD. Romans 12:1, -3 Bc GOD wants True WORSHIPPERS to be a LIVING SACRIFICE HOLY, & ACCEPTABLE unto GOD. THIS also says you DON'T have the HOLY. And that is scary. YOU WILL NOT BE RAPTURED WITHOUT IT. AMEN! & AMEN!
