Gaerne Fastback Enduro Boots:

The Gaerne Fastback Enduro Boot is an innovative off-road motorcycle boot with a sleek new look. Partially due to the exclusive Gaerne "wrap around" ankle pivot system. This new lightweight feature allows the rider more ankle support while at the same time gives you a comfortable fit. New alloy buckles, heavy duty burn guard, toe bumper and the trademark Gaerne sole complete the task.

I took delivery of these boots today. The craftsmanship is top notch. Very glad I spent the extra dough to get some boots with ankle pivot. Just went for a spin off road on my Transalp. Tripped over at one point from a stand still and the bike landed on my ankle. 200kg and I felt nothing. Paid for themselves there and then!

I went to 3 places to get a boot but opted not to buy. Broke my ankle riding that same afternoon. Now I have plenty of time to find a pair.

Had the regular black fastback and they are unbelievably good. This colorway is so sick. May go back the fastback again

I attest this is a great boot. I ride a Africa Twin mostly road but wanted the added pro this boot delivers. Very comfortable and not bad to walk in at all. Highly recommend.

I bought these today after a five week search for boots and watching hundreds of these reviews. Only 45 minutes in them thus far so can’t say much. But I can say that they fit like a glove, ankle and calf, and are hot 🥵 on the leg as a result. They will be great cooler weather boots but it’s the middle of summer here in Australia, heat aplenty boys and girls. Super happy with them however. UPDATE: it’s over a year since I have had them. Closer to two than one. I did wear other boots for short rides during the summer but not because they were hot when riding, short rides typically meant going to the supermarket or other similar tasks. Clomping around in them off bike in the summer was not fun. On the bike however it really wasn’t a problem and I still prefer them over anything else, even during the summer. The biggest surprise has been their warmth. I haven’t tested them in truly cold weather, I’m not riding in that. But down to freezing point, 0 Celsius, they are great. Their robustness engenders confidence and on several occasions random items have smashed into them, zero consequences for me. Of course a truly significant impact, the bike landing on them during a significant and very undesirable event, is going to hurt. Otherwise they for me represent the best compromise between safety and comfort I can imagine.

I've been super happy with my TCX Drifter Waterproof boots and these seem very similar with more armor. Nice.

I'm waiting on a pair of size 10 to use on my ADV rides. One note worthy point, I tried a size 11 which is what i wear usually (sidi crossfire) and it was WAY big in this boot! I do not believe they are true to size and run about a size larger than other boots. I did like the boot though and am hoping they'll be a winner in the size down.

These looks awesome. I'll consider them for whenever my SG-10's wear out. Might be a while though...

The balanced oiled is definitely the most comfortable boot of all time. I've got like 80K miles of riding in mine, and countless of just walking miles during winter. They kick ass. Zero ankle support, but they're comfy as heck.

These boots are mint. Just wonder if the waterproof would be an issue on the street when caught in bad weather

My boots just saved my bacon when my bike trapped my leg underneath it, if it weren't for my Gaerne Fastbacks I'd be in the hospital with broken bones, later when I remove the boots there wasn't even a scratch, if your willing to spend money on protection you will never find anything better than Gaerne boots. the Italians have always made the best fitting highest quality gear in the industry!

Hi Chase! Awaiting review on Gaerne Dakar. For touring, very moderate offroading, would you recommend the Fastback Enduro or Dakar? I ride a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. Not sure if Fastback would be comfortable/practical with the INT 650 and touring. Thoughts?

Thank you for the video
If they were water proof I would buy two pair.

I'm in a size 11 running shoe, is 44 1/2 the right size in the fastback?

... I am searching boot videos for Dual Sport/ADV. My motocross, Hare Scrambles and Enduro days are behind me now.
This is one I was leaning towards until, 3:15 - NOT WATERPROOF. !!??
With wet conditions, water crossings, etc., what waterproof boot would you recommend?
I appreciate all your videos!
Thank you,
. Jeff .

Thanks Chase - am stuck wondering whether to get these Fastback Enduro or the SG12 enduro, I ride GSA1250 mostly road touring but then I'll head off on forest tracks or light gravel and want ankle protection (also ride CRF250rally and T7 sometimes again light off-road) - really want to get much better protection than my current forma adv low
