The families of the missing need to share on social media too! The platform is there for everyone!

You gotta be young, pretty and popular. I'm white, but I know no one would come looking for my old, tired ass.

Every case should be handled the same no matter what color you are I believe in being equal we all are human beings and we all should be treated as so my condolences go out to all the families who lost a loved one I hope you get the Justice and support you deserve and the answers that you've been looking for.

This is the first thing I thought when it started getting shown in the media. Y'all know how many young women go missing every year? Much worse circumstances than Gabby. It's just messed up dude...

As a minority myself, I get it. But Gabby's case is one of thousands worldwide, if we can bring just 1 person to justice let's do it!! If you can save just one person, then its worth it. Nobody can save the world

Why she gained attention?
1) Her boyfriend came home without her and never reported her missing, lawyered up and refused to talk Creating controversy. You the people like controversy and gave the story attention causing more media to cover it.
2) This situation spans 3 states including states where media goes far: Florida and New York.
3) The fiance is missing as we speak.
4) Easier for women to connect to the story and relate to the woman. She not only had an IG but a YT which gave insight to her personality and goals.

I'm brown and read the news. A lot of people go missing and don't get this attention. It has nothing to do with skin colour but controversy. A lot of missing white people, how many of them are getting this coverage? Do not blame the media, blame people who depend on controversy to consume media.

Sure - good point, let's also cover over some missing homeless people or a missing gang member.

It is a bit excessive...feel bad for the other cases.

Instead of doing stories on lack of media coverage for other missing people maybe do some coverage on some other people who are missing. This was time wasted. Then at the end he has a nerve to say "oh you can go and track these cases of these other people if you want to." 🥴

So the you guys the media are to blame and should do some inward soul searching as to why you choose not to cover these poor missing people more

I doubt those other cases had prime suspects like Gabby's fiance. Thats what makes it so intriguing. I remember hearing a lot about a california mother (asian american) who disappeared earlier this year and was probably killed by her husband but it was never solved. So the media just moved on to the next one (Gabby).

Create a platform for missing people. A YouTube channel so everyone knows who went missing. It could be short clips of each case and a photo with details.

Humans are creatures of emotions and by reading some comments on here, it just shows how true it is. There are so many reasons why this case got so much attention. Please step away from your emotions when writing comments on this. people may take them serious

Every case should indeed be covered or handled the same. One of the differences is the social media trail that Gabby & Goofball left behind in a social media world. Secondly this is not on the majority or about race as much as State & Federal actually doing the jobs tax payers pay them to do. All eyes were on them in this one because of social media most importantly because look how they handled in beginning letting Goofy slip through their fingers because of a half ass lawyer hiding behind Constitution like there weren’t ways around it. The authorities like Josh whom handled or as he stated “Led” the investigation didn’t put any resources or attention on the #1 suspect from start and they knew that. Prayers for all the families whom have lost or feel like their loved ones are not as important but when comes to them they are and rest of world feels same and your pain but thus blame most definately goes toward powers that be!

The media always makes it about race🤬🤬. It's a disgrace. Every case is different people my gosh. What a bunch of snowflakes. It depends on the evidence in the case..🙄🙄
