I got one of these delivered today and have to say although its a gorgeous guitar and sounds great I'm a bit disappointed that it didnt come with a hard case considering the price. I thought all guitars in the pro modern range came with one. I know my ML1 pro modern did.

The Pegasus & Sentient is a great combination of pickups. The Sentient is comparable with 59, Lil '59 and to an extend even Jazz, but it has reduced highs. Same with the Pegasus vs a Pearly Gates or JB. Those reduced highs pair very good with the spanky guitar that the telecaster is. This said, Fender Indonesia makes such a tele with Pearly Gates & 59. That however is a mahagony tele and this is a basswood one, so I totally get the pickup choices for both. Incidently basswood has a better name in my native Dutch: linde[hout]. That said, from wiki: "names include linden for the European species". These HH telecasters are an underrated variant of type of guitar. This one is also availabe in Hot White or Cyber Black. Kudos, Chapman!

I also realised that the ML3-Bea of course has the Lil '59 in the neck, although made of different wood. Sentient, Little '59 and 59 are probably my favourite neck pickups for rockteles.

Sounds pretty nice! However, the ML3 Pro Modern would be a huge lot more interesting if it came in any desirable colors, at all. Not a fan of pastel shiny bright optics or this over the top glossy blue. :/ Hopefully the new Ghost Fret Pro which I just ordered will make me happy once it arrived at my door, the existing demos didn't really allow me to judge how it might sound when plugging into my choice of pedals and amps.
