His technique is unbelievable, he doesn’t even sweat or anything it’s just so effortless…

As an honours classical pianist I can tell you this man, Marc Andre Hamelin truly is ridiculously good. He has a god given ability that any of us professional pianists could die for

My teacher: "Very good. Now let's play it a half step above." 🤯

I feel like true glissando technique is tested by interval glissando. The parallel thirds glissando from Ravels Alborada Del Gracioso or the octave glissando from Beethoven’s Waldstein is where “smoothness” actually comes into play. It’s because Hamelin’s a world class pianist that the single thumb glissandi are among the less impressive aspects of this performance.

Those glissandos are smoother than my pickup lines.

This man probably has the best technique in the world

Fantastic octaves, I would love to hear this keyboard giant play Liszt's B minor Sonata.

Forget the glissandi — the way he plays all the scales at the beginning of this piece in this same performance is truly amazing: lightning-fast and as smooth/effortless as humanly possible (I mean, he *is* human … right??)

Wow he turns pages pretty instant.
Realisation. There are no notes, it's fucking MEMORY

I was like: "Ah yes thats sort-of playable (another 20 seconds in), maybe

A very accomplished player playing a demanding but unremarkable piece. Liszt seems to have written it as a test rather than for its beauty

He makes the left hand sound like an orchestral accompaniment as well. Incredible level of skill

It does feel like such a con when you see a simply piano ad before something like this. I already play piano so it won't ever affect me but you do wonder how many people get the app thinking they have just started their journey to this kind of level.

Hamelin is the best pianist alive. As simple as that.

Looks less painful when someone else does it,

OP tags alot of people but not Hamelin who actually is the one playing in the video 😂
