Do I need to apply primer before applying the builder gel?

So I got this product 2 months ago and commented. I'm back to comment again; I love this product! I use the shade Blush mostly, though the clear one is great for sealing in nail art.

File and buff the nail, apply base coat over the entire nail and cure, apply this product leaving the tiniest gap between the product and your cuticle and also the sidewalls, repeat once or twice, capping the free edge on the last layer and then apply a top coat over the entire nail and cure. I say about leaving a very small gap between the product and the cuticle and the sidewalls because when you then apply the top coat, you're sealing in this product a little more securely, it's a little hard to explain 😅 but nothing will be able to get under this product and then cause it to lift, if that makes sense.
If you have oily nail plates (like me! Almost everything I've ever tried lifts) then use a nail dehydrator and /or nail primer first, on the pink area of your nail.

Also, this product smells like bubblegum and it confuses and delights me.
Blush is a very very natural colour even after 3 thin layers.
It's helped my nails grow longer than I've ever managed before, and also helps stop me picking at my nails and the surrounding skin (I have dermatillomania)

Hi I use mylee gel polish and I have done my nails with just the gel and with the top and base coat then I removed it after 2 weeks and, the next day I did it again but with the builder gel aswell as the gel after it had been removed the next day I did it again with the builder gel and my nails after I had removed it my nails were very weak and they were very red and my nails kept breaking have I done anything wrong like the application or anything I’m just wondering because I have prepped the nails and everything x

Hi I have a question. I'm new to doing my own gel nails and I've learnt just by watching YouTube tutorials. I've ordered this builders gel because my natural nails are so thin and weak even with the gel polish on but when I've watched other tutorials using the builders gel hey seem to file it off quite a bit before applying a gel colour, is that needed because on this video you didn't file the builders gel. Also to extend a nail with the builders gel how easy is it to apply forms to your own nails, is there a knack to doing it yourself? Hope you can help xx

I managed to extend my nails but the gel is very pliable and bends. am i doing something wrong? However, it is the only gel that succeeded in my shape because it is not very liquid and it stands on the nails.

If you use it as a base or top coat. Do you remove it in the same was as your gel polish?

I've recently started using this product, the problem I'm having is that when you say it self levels for me that means it runs down from the centre of the nail down to the sides and collects there meaning I have to file a lump of product from the side of the nail whilst the centre of the nail only has a thin coat. What am I doing wrong please?

After 60 sec mine's still sticky. Any idea? (I use a brand new Bluesky LED lamp).

Really disappointed with a nail art kit I got today "plastic gems"?? Come on Mylee!! Glass gems/rhinestones they're soooo soooo cheap to buy I can't believe Mylee "plastic gems" would put that out in a kit!! 😢 really disappointed because I've loved everything I've ever got including last years & this years Advent Calendar!!
Fix up Mylee, it's the small things that make a massive difference!!
