It's always something easy.... Unless it's something else, like something weird, crazy or hard.

Nothing like the Sweet Sound of a Crisp 2-Stroke on the Pipe!

I was scared for your hand when you were free hand drilling but you handled it like a champ awesome video as always

A little anti-seize on chain adjuster bolts is a good idea, run it in and out a few times and it will keep you from snapping one off

I’m so happy to see a nice guy like you Joe wining a few as opposed to finding a broken crank or needing new top end, a carb clean is enough.

Boy, that was some pretty good drilling for free hand.

I have this exact bike i bought in boxes. Took it home and the only thing missing when I put it all back together was the output shaft bearing. I rebuilt the entire motor, put a Lectron carb on it, 125 springs in the front an rear (im only 145 lbs and ride goat trails) Its been the best woods bike I've ever owned. I live in the PNW so its always steep, wet, rutted, bolders and root wads. You can idle it all day but wick the throttle anytime you want and it will lite like a rocket and never foul a plug.

yo been watching for a half a year...I had this exact bike! got it in worse shape with bad fork seals bad brakes and bad master cylinder. only bike I ever worked on. got it goin then did a few small repairs as I rode it for 5 years. was a monster. he's totally right it has unlimited power. only bike I ever rode besides mountain bikes. there's something special ( not that I can compare ) about this bike. its like everything was engineered perfectly. the powerband is perfect. I'd recommend anyone who can buys this vintage bike and restores it you wont regret it!

Pro tip for grip replacement: Aqua Net aerosol hair spray. It lubes the grip just enough to easily slide on, and once it dries it basically acts like a glue to keep the grip in place. Been doing this for years.

Finally, a proper running 2Stroke!!! 😂 Looks like she rips!!! New intake boot, V-force reed kit, Pro Circuit pipe and silencer, proper jetting and she'll be a handful!! Nice Score!!

I'm getting ocd about that chain guide and case saver.. Fun video!!

Awesome. Another winner in the books. The carb being dirty along with that tear in the boot probably meant the bike was getting very little or no fuel. Good job.

This is the best throttle responsive bike from you I have seen so far.
Why not remove the dent out of the exhaust pipe !? It is not that difficult and it is easy to learn on YT !

Good score on this YZ250! That thing rips, sounds super crisp when running through the gears.
You can make bank on that bike if you flip it later on! Thanks for a cool video, Joe!

Hey Joe, I really appreciate and enjoy your videos, you’re definitely working hard to get this channel going. I know it takes time to video and editing, along with scouring the web site’s for new and interesting stuff to rescue. I have a couple of questions, 1. Where did you learn how to repair ATV’s and Motorcycles? And 2. Do you sell some of them once you get them fixed and going? Keep up the great work!!!

There are not many left that can work a carb like you do!
Thank you for making videos on carbs

I live in South Florida and I don't use ethanol gas in anything. All of my lawn equipment including my tractor gets non-ethanol.

It's a little more expensive at the pump but in the long term it's a lot cheaper.

My Troy-Bilt lawn mower was still running that I bought new in 2005.

I only had to replace it cuz the deck rusted out.
All of my equipment runs on non-ethanol gas and synthetic Marine 2-stroke oil.

You have a fantastic channel and it is a wealth of knowledge.
