A child who is never loved the way she deserves, she's soft and lovable but never lucky to get a deep hug I can experience how fast I get attached to the people and how I want them to love me in the same way and how much it hurts me when they criticize me it hurts it kills I don't want to be weak but I end up being weak even after trying extremely

Detachment is dissociation. The world is traumatic and our hearts want to get away from the pain. Go through the pain. Feel the pain. Engage emotions. Accept them. They are part of the texture of experience.

It took me 62 years to realize how to disengage from thought and emotion. For myself, I believed them to be me. I watched other people disengage, and I was saddened. I felt that they were inhuman. It scared me. Now, I realize that they made a move to sanity.

So true, observe..don't resist. Also emotional attachment is hard to overcome because emotions are of the body..hormones..chemicals that people get addicted to (in case you are wondering why some people seem addicted to drama...they are)

This taps into the human survival system where the subconscious seeks routine and order because that's how we survived 200, 000 years so emotional responses to our environment and each other are programmed into the subconscious, about 90% before age 7 through the repetitive patterns of childhood and/or traumas. It's hard to break the patterns because the subconscious resists thinking a change of emotional patterns is a threat to survival so we must learn to reprogram our minds as these patterns of responses are directly responsible for our health, well-being and what we create in our lives.

I'm just so weird. Sometimes, if I wanna talk to a person, and that don't materialise, or if I feel like I've disturbed someone's peace just for their company, I feel so emotional. I cry and cry. I'm an emotional mess.

I guess, people like me suffer the most out of this pain brought about by emotional r/ships.

i feel hurt over a past issue ...i feel as if i will keep feeling hurt untill that person realize empathisize or apologize...atleast come back to me n listen to me once ...i feel depressed cz of this attachment which is unwanted
