Florence Day Trip to Viareggio, Italy 🇮🇹 One of Tuscany’s Best Beach Towns!

Between the Apuan Alps and the Ligurian Sea, you will find the beautiful resort town of Viareggio! Located within the province of Lucca, the seafront of Viareggio might not be what you typically expect in Tuscany.

Viareggio is part of an area called ‘The Versilia’. It is widely known and popular for its fashionable resorts along its Riviera and attracts visitors with its active nightlife during the summer. The beach in Versilia is very wide and long and stretches from Forte dei Marmi to Viareggio.

These are the lidos that are nearer to the station... There's also a whole other set of lidos on the other side of the town in which the beach (free or not) is waay wider.. most of the people who live in Viareggio go there😁

I was born in Pietrasanta, 1941, difficult times, the scars of the war though were deep, we manage to get up and start again, but we will never forget the horror of the war, because forgetting is forgetting our forfathers and our history in good and sad times. Guys, you should definitely go in the coast in the south of tuscany! the sea is amazing, no lidos, and everything is so wild! parco della maremma, or parco dell'uccellina is a paradise!

Thanx - we saw this video, and we went to Viareggio cause of it. A great base for relaxing and visiting Pisa and Cinque Terre. we stayed at Visuites. and i can reccomend Pizzo Pissa, Jam Supermarket, and renting bike and cycle all over the place.

Great video. The mystery of the Portuguese flag: Roberto, one of the owners of Bagno Irene, is married to a Portuguese. Their son helps as lifeguard in the lido, but most of the times he plays volley in the water with his friends.😆
