Was just there yesterday and met a lovely couple who lived there . They told us that the community is now open to multigenerational
. It is a beautiful community but restaurant is closed on Monday’s and tuesdays .

I took a tour of Ocala Preserve a couple of weeks ago and it really is beautiful. My concern was that with another (approx) 1000 homes to be built, he couldn’t tell me what percentage was being opened to families/55+ and that there were no plans to segregate areas for 55+ in the future growth areas.
Initially the rep told me it’s a 55+ but that just is not the case.
I’m still considering it as an option but the true 55+ communities are my preference.
On the positive side, they did have move in ready homes (three to five months) for very reasonable prices on the DR Horton side.
I did not tour the Shea Homes side because there office was closed.
