Soldiers deserve utmost respect. I remember my interactions with soldiers whom my dad commanded (Indian army). Going to their barracks was an experience that was very humbling. We civilians live in big houses, sleep in cozy beds, eat nice meals etc etc... yet may have absolutely no idea about the tough living conditions of those who man our borders and keep us safe. 🙏🏻

As an former U.S. Army Airborne NCO (505th PIR 82nd Airborne Division), twice I trained in large scale NATO training exercises, and both times I trained alongside Troops from the German Bundeswehr. I must admit that the Bundeswehr Troops were some of the best trained, coordinated, and disciplined Troops I've ever seen.
These guys were so disciplined that they loved to workout in the Gym. They would get upset if they missed a PT session! They were also a hell of a nice bunch of Guys. The kind of good Troops you could depend on to cover your ass while in combat.
Thanks to the producers of this video. It brought to my mind many fond memories.
