It seems like your a55 display is not set on vivid mode, and the refresh rate is set on 60hz if so enable them from display settings and it will look amazing .

Dude, you are mentioning galaxy A55 display specs.
What A55 doesnt have: hyper thin bezels around display, Dynamic amoled LTPO and brightness level maybe not as bright, but at 1000 nits, it is very good.

I dunno what you mean by basic. It is FANTASTIC for the price and it is much bigger too, better for typing and media experience.

Oh, A55 has 2 advantages over S24: it has micro SD (it does share with 2nd sim slot, but A55 has esim!) and it can do seamless update (you dont need to wait for the update process, just update the software in the background and restart the phone when it's ready).

Oh and if used s24 is cheaper than brand new A55, then the more it doesnt make any sense to spend money on brand new s24 because you literally should've just save your money and get A55
