I think the fact that Samsung is not selling A55 in the US is that they intend to market more of the upcoming S24fe than the A55. Unlike last year's mistake they sold more A54.

I got my A55 last week. I sold my S21 FE since I needed more storage and battery life. I wanted to buy the S23 FE, but I was on a budget. So, I went for the A55 and, truthfully, I haven't noticed much difference compared to the S21 FE. The only thing I truly miss is the camera. But the battery life and speed are on point!

Thanks for comparing them, the s23fe is a semi flagship and the a55, while still seemingly good, is still a midrange phone. I would get the FE if it was a bit cheaper brand new.

The only thing that bothers me to the A55 it's bezel for its price it must atleast shrunken the bezels because even the older A50 or A52/53

if u havnt tried snapdragon, the exynos sems fast. the heat is not as big an issue unless u play cod for a loonger period of time.

you can't really compare the 2 phones in gaming quiet yet since the A55's chip is still pretty new and need updates and game supports to function on a 100%

I came from the Note 20 Ultra to the A54 (and now A55) and I don't think the price difference is worth any of the features you get on the ultra-premium phones.

My mom has Mint S23 FE and I just bought the Lilac A55. Exterior wise, I definitely love mine way better! I especially love that rainbow shine on A55. Gaming wise, It's been superb, no complaints. Also that long battery life!! A55 also has wider screen, which I prefer. But surprisingly, S23 FE still felt a smidge heavier despite being smaller. I also like that the key island/sides/edges is also in lilac color, unlike S23 FE which is plain silver.

Update: the battery life is craaazyy.. Last night I fell asleep on Wuthering Waves opening screen for 7 hours and by the time I woke up, my phone was smoldering hot cuz it was pressed under my blanket. But surprisingly, the battery only went from 99% to 31%. That's craaaazy. I imagine any other phone would be dead already if it went thru that. 🫨

Gaming wise, idk which is better. A55 or S23Fe. I've never tried heavy gaming on my mom's phone so... But A55 works pretty dang well for gaming. But I assume S23Fe might be better since it's an actual flagship phone

Does A55 give you full control of flash in full resolution mode? Or only auto & the phone decides whether flash is needed or not?
