My first run in the Pro 4 this morning. Unbelievable! A fast 20k. Superb. What an incredible improvement over the hard, lifeless Pro 3. Yes, it will wear out faster but who cares if it is this good. Keep it for mainly race days. It might become my Marathon shoe over my Alphaflys. I don’t understand where Nike have gone with the new VF. I liked the VF3 but never loved them. Always went for the AF over just about any distance.

Gran vídeo. Lo que cuentas de la Vaporfly 4 es exactamente lo que sentí con la Vaporfly 3: tocaba fondo, no había efecto rocker (que era lo que tanto gustaba de la Next v1 y v2) y cuando te ponías de puntillas tocabas el suelo directamente. La Pro 4 me gusta mucho, quizás haya perdido un poco de balancín y de rigidez respecto a la Pro 3 pero el nuevo Lightstrike Pro se comporta espectacularmente.
Dudaba entre la Pro 4 y la Elite v2, pero no tengo tanto presupuesto para la Elite😅

Can’t wait to try the vaporfly. The last version was spectacular. I have the Pro 4 and it’s ok nothing to complain about but it just feels ok nothing special for me. The old Alphafly I can fly so I hope the new version is as good.

Oh wow. Quite the conclusion then! Seems that the competition have gotten the gist of this game over Nikes super shoes and can better them. I'm still good it seems then with my Puma DNE 3's💗

I did not do well with the Adios Pro 4. Midsole felt too soft, and it tired my legs out very quickly when I was going faster in them. I want to like these shoes, but I'm a bit of a heavier runner, and this shoe is not for me. I always did well with the Nike Vaporfly line, as the Zoom X foam is firmer and is more responsive under foot (IMHO). I used the Vaporfly 3 in the NYC Marathon last year and it got me a sub 4 hour time. I'm just hoping the Vaporfly 4 will be as good as the previous Vaporfly models.

I think the old lightstrike pro formula was better for me. Maybe somthing firmer than this would be better

I need a new show for my local 5k Parkrun, which is 80% tarmac footpath and 20% dirt/gravel track, and it has a few tight turns. Out of the 2 shoes in this video and the Saucony Endorphin Elite 2 and Hoka Cielo X1 2.0, which would you recommend?

The latest crop of Nike racing/tempo shoes all have that flare at the top of the midsole around the heel. Does that design element serve any functional purpose or is it purely stylistic?

Do you have the old Vaporfly 4%? I feel like you should compare an OG supershoe from 2018 to the new Vaporfly 4.

I tried the Adiós Pro 4 there was too much forefoot. I felt like it was zero drop due to the softness of the foam and could feel the rods. Too unstable for me.

2 shoes with less than 8mm drop, not for me, i prefer other like saucony elite 2
