Ok, but are you all these things you’re listening off? Especially that “low body count.” If so, great, you can ask for that. If not, fix yourself first. My problem isn’t men having high standards, it’s those same men being low quality investments (to use the words ya’ll tend to use). You can’t ask for a perfect woman if you’re not a perfect man, if you’re not willing to put in the effort to woo her and actually care for her.

I personally hit most of the “requirements” on your list, but I also require much of the same from my husband. I know my worth, and I spent a lot of time searching for my husband, because I knew what kind of father I wanted for our children.

My own father had these same “requirements, ” and bailed when my mother decided she was done living in poverty because he was too proud to do what was needed to have a stable job. She got a job to support us, and his ego couldn’t handle it.

I have 2 beautiful children and another on the way, and I refuse to have this level of ego enter my home.
