Both members of the Two Of Us were previously involved in the Hubert Kah project; Ulrich "James" Herter as a songwriter and Thomas "Stibbich" Dörr as a drummer.
“Twice As Nice” was the duo’s first album and gave rise to three German hit singles, “Two Of Us”, “Blue Night Shadow” and “The Generation Swing”, which reached #47 with a six week chart stay. The fabulous sax work on this track is by Pierre Paquette, who was born in Boston in the US but was based in Germany.
Tim Touchton wrote most of the English language lyrics for Münchener Freiheit.
