This is crazy, in the UK everyone can get free test delivered to your home asap, including lateral flow and PCR pretty much on demand, and we're not good enough, America is a 3rd world country

In Germany you get the DIY-tests for around 1 US Dollar per piece. So 1 dollar is fair, anything above that is extortion/robbery/corruption.

I don't understand how this is going to work maybe in January if you're feeling bad you can send an email to the government and in a week to 10 days they'll put a test kit in the mail and another week you'll get it by then you're either dead or cured too many holes in this plan

Only possible excuse I can think of is misreading of the Indian data wrt delta. Their severity is ten times higher during their delta wave than in the official numbers according to Indian officials. Similar to Putin saying their real numbers are 3-4 times higher before delta. Similar to how Peru adjusted their numbers to simply include all excess deaths. Using the official counts in combination with "high" vaccination rate (compared to most of the rest of the world at the time) and increased immunity through natural infections being higher than the stats. Omicron? I still have hopes this will be far easier to deal with than we expect; it's raged through low vaccinated South Africa for a month (could have cross immunization from their own variant that struck them really hard), and similar data is starting to emerge from the UK. I think most of the havoc seen now is still delta finding unvaccinated targets.

The fact that he has a stuttering issue, which is just a surface symptom of his trouble speaking, is well known and clearly places him as a fellow neurodivergent person .
