Modern cameras help you to stay in that moment where as vintage photography help you to stay forever in that memory

Vintage photography is the best.... They take you on a trip down to the memory lane... When you look at the photograph, you are magically transported to the day when you took that photo, the people who were with you, and various other moments associated with the photograph...
To put it in a sentence, vintage photograph is not just a photograph, it is an emotion💟

I love vintage cameras, because I have always loved that vintage/ retro style for photos. It also makes me nostalgic about pictures when I see them later.

The grain that you get from old photographs looks very pleasing than digital photos. It makes everything looks aesthetically pleasing.I remember when my dad used to show me the negatives of pictures and I used to guess the person who's in there. Those days were amazing.old photography will always look better than digital photography, period.
The best digital photos are the ones that simulate the look of film. Nowadays we use multiple apps to get those effects.i was looking at old photo album and realized that the photos had life and soul. The prints were wrinkled on the edges, and turning slightly sepia. The memories were fading but it was beautiful decay.

I like vintage photography since pictures taken can be shared & watched later without need of mobile or any device. And pictures remain for forever no matter what (unlike phone or other devices which has risks of data wipeouts or corruptions etc.)

Everything has its own taste, one who respects the photography, must respect the device and the shot.
You can click amazing pictures from your phone and only satisfaction that you will get is from the shoot or pic but when you click from vintage camera, you not only love the outcome you also love the process. Photography from vintage camera will might make a journey more memorable than you expect but the thing is you will still need a smart phone to click the pic 📷of that vintage camera. So one needs to have the experience from both at least.

I have my first camera that is Kodak point and shoot camera which needs negative role of 35 photo clicks but these days, developing raw negative is bit costly, so middle class person like me do not afford developing cost each time but yet vintage cameras are more appealing than modern cameras, these days I use my cellphone camera and my old kodak camera is not in use.

I prefer vintage photography for the simple reason that I loved looking back at my mom’s photo albums of my siblings and I when we children and I just seeing all the pictures and remembering all the wonderful memories as kids! I started getting into analog photography recently as I just had my first child and started making a photo album of my child for when he’s older and I can show him all the pictures. I love vintage photography 📷 🤍

Digital camera will give us likes and share in social media, instant camera it's give us memory. Smile on out face. Always hard copy of photo will make higher impact on people . Instant film reinforces important values we should all remember: keep photos with care in albums for the future generation’s perusal; save all photos because you never know when nostalgia might knock on your door; and find beauty in candid photos, not Photoshop

Best camera is the one you have at the moment. If you know the basics and know the framing, you can create magic with anything you have your hands on. But no doubt, digital still tries to mimic the film effects, and that says all.

Hi Shenaz, I guess I will have to go back to Hawa Mahal very soon! 😋
Anyway, I think every camera is designed for a purpose. I cannot click fast-motion with vintage cameras, we need modern fast cameras. And since I have started living with two small cousins who get too excited when see a camera, it's easier for me to teach them using a modern camera. It gives us more flexibility to try out new things, but that being said, the process of using a vintage camera is sacred, it will always be. And that's what makes it irreplaceable. ♥️
