You're a legend Mark. I've been messing around with amateur 3d films for more than a decade. Unusable beam-splitters and overly complicated designs.
Your gimbal setup is incredible. I just ordered your side by side mount. Keep up the good work. You're an inspiration.

Many thanks Mark, I have ordered your camera mount and can't wait to try filming some stuff. On the up/down video you show a way to put something in the unused sphere, how do you do this in the side by side technique?

thanks for your reply mark. i tried and adjusted the x-axis to 960 with offset effect. i hope i did it right?
anyway, can wait to see if you will do a demo with premiere pro, just like the one you did with over under.

What settings are the Pix Pros set to?

360 3d will not work! For my experience. Cause when looking behind the left will go right... vice versa! Even 180 3d will be perfect only in the middle, i think!
Wen looking 90 degrees right or left the picture will go 2d! Am i wrong?

Thanks for the video, that's exactly what I want doing with two side by side Kodak PixPro 4Ks. Basic question...how do you synchronize capture start/stop on both cameras? To ensure later frame sync when stiching. Please let me know.

Simple solution from 2019 its buy insta360 evo it have 5, 7k 180VR 3D and all just works...
