Seriously though....this really is how to imagine the Universe, if you ask me. The big bang theory is just Christian theology dressed up to look like science. The guy who came up with it was a Catholic priest, and the pope thought it confirmed the bible's story of genesis. true story - but they won't mention that to you in physics class. A fractal (infinite) universe really makes a lot more logical sense. That is, after all, what we observe in nature (the Fibonacci sequence and the golden spiral. The universe is also nature.
