Gold Fleet - Race 1 | PredictWind Moth Worlds

Enjoy some footage that I captured during Race 1 of the Gold Fleet finals at the PredictWind Moth World Championships.
This was the first of 2 days of Gold & Silver fleet racing.

The regatta is held at Manly Sailing Club on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula in New Zealand and this was filmed on January 8.

This is not my usual style of filming (and tried to stay as wide view as possible) but I have tried my best to capture it from the perspective of the viewer watching a live stream. The courses are long and my flight time is well reduced due to flying into headwinds at max speed upwind so had to pick the best moments I could for battery swaps mid-race.
