First time watcher, excellent video and comparison. I currently have the OnePlus open and i love it, but I'm kinda looking at the Honor V3 or possibly the honor magic V4. The N5 is definitely a "no-go" since it doesn't have band 71 for T Mobile.

What I miss about my v3 is those rounded edges. Makes the phone feel thinner, smother in the hand. Even swiping gestures are so smooth on the v3. Software experience is where I had to get the find n5. The v3 is lacking a certain polish that just made me miss my oneplus open. I've ordered a borderless aramid case for the n5. Hopefully it improves feel when holding the n5.

Agree on the sound quality difference. Night and day. V3 is a jbl mini speaker. N5 is a laptop speaker.

My V3 keeps having accidental touches and is driving me crazy. Had to put a thick case on to try and stop this, so now it's the thickest foldable. I'm selling it before I chuck it at a brick wall

This review is the only one I've seen that praises microphones and cameras. Most reviewers have said that those areas were either cost cutting measures or problems that come from the devices being so thin. Obviously the hardware is really impressive but they have hefty price tags and (having not tested myself) I feel like they missed the mark in those two areas.

I was tired of using the Samsung ZFOLD6, and wanted a new folding device with a " normal" outer display amongst other reasons.

Since I live in Norway, I tested different folding devices, and I ended up getting the Honor Magic V3 512gig.
One major reason was that I finally could use an S-pen on both the inner- and outer display!👍👍👍

Btw you're absolutely right about the battery! It's Third gen of Silicon carbon battery is just awesome!

I'm still watching this video, but I paused just to inform you that I have noticed static noise in your recordings that comes and goes as you film using your Z Fold SE. I noticed that in two of your past videos using that phone. Has anyone pointed that out to you?

i got my V3 in october 2024 and i'm happy with it but i am very tempted for the N5. might upgrade in october again.
I can personally confirm the battery on the V3 is amazing! i've watched a full 2hr movie in tablet mode and used under 10% power. Hell i just had the phone on for 2.5 hours on satnav and it used 10% power!! even though my V3 is now SEVEN months old i still only have to charge it once ever 2 - 3 days with normal use!!
95% of the time i use it as a normal phone but that 5% when i want the tablet. dam it's good and just amazing for going on holidays with. i did a full review on my channel about it as well.
