George is a gentleman. He didnt laugh at Ringo, he helped him

I like how you can see George recognize that it’s a good song with potential and he immediately helps out.

George and Ringo had a great bond, free of competition.

You can literally see George trying to immediately figure out how to help. George was enjoying each moment

You can literally see George’s face thinking of ways to build on the song, instead of “changing” or “fixing” it. What a kind soul

Loved this moment. George knew what it felt like to not be heard in the band, and recognized that it doesnt have to be that way. And so he made sure Ringo was heard. Love this documentary what a blessing.

George was the hidden genius in the Beatles.

George could not possibly know how cool he was because he was him

This of course shows George’s good heart and Ringo’s joy. It also shows me some of the thinking behind the craft of music writing. George’s comment “see how it resolves its self” after demonstrating is great.

George was a good soul...gentle. Having been mocked by John and Paul when he was trying to submit songs, he took Ringo under his wing and helped him... kindness conquers all

This is George’s certain magick. He’s the glue; he didn’t laugh at Ringo. He thoughtfully shuffled over piano-side to “The Human Metronome” and proceeded to musically resolve Ringo’s Octopus Garden, and you can see how that simply validates Starr’s decision to share it. Lovely, just that.
These moments are what YT shorts are made for.

George was listening so intently and seemed so pleased with what Ringo was writing, and wanted to help him. Really sweet ❤

George realized that it was a nice song and especially loved the line: "We would be warm, below the storm".

George was a supportive friend, didnt make fun of Ringo and his song. I love Octopuses' garden, it is light and bubbly, like a lullaby. Also, George's guitar riff at the start is so good.

George was seriously a class act. Such a gentleman and nobody's fool. I wish we'd have had more time with the man and his music. RIP Mr. Harrison.

I said hello to Ringo in a small supermarket in Belair in the early 80s. He couldn't have been nicer and we gad a chat. I was 18 and in the Marines. I was visiting a friend from high school whose grandmother lived in Beverly Hills
