It makes me smile to see Timmy finally get his flowers after all these years. Been in my top 5-7 for since he retired. The modern day Bill Russell, no cap.

Tim is overlooked because he wasn't flashy. All he did was play the game and win. All with the same team and in house players. Not once did they bring in a prime all star to help win.

Tim Duncan had a first team All Defense honors at the ripe young age of 36! That is so disgustingly immaculate.

And for all of the people who say he never had that dominant peak, he was incredible in the early-mid 2000’s, his 2003 season was an all-time season, and that 2003 playoff run was a historic carry job by Duncan.

Timmy is the most underrated player ever. People really get caught up in flashy moves etc. TD got the job done on both ends and he was able to have success with multiple units which highlights just how good he was. Definitely TOP 5 and my favorite player.

He's my favorite athlete of all time. No talking and all work to create a winning culture for dam near 2 decades. Then as soon as he felt like he couldn't contribute at the highest level, he retires. No farewell tour, just doing what's best for the team
