Are two grooveboxes better than one? Syntakt & MC-101 live jam

Our first duo jam featuring the Elektron Syntakt and the Roland MC-101 playing together! We had lots of fun with this jam and it feels like the Syntakt and the MC-101 make an excellent couple.
We're using the two at what they're each best at: the Syntakt does all of the drums (except for a clap sound at the end of the song) and most of the melodic elements. The MC-101 does the pad chords, the chord stabs, the flute/horn-like lead and all the sampled textures in the background. The lead sound was programmed from an init tone using the MC-101 Partial Editor, which was surprisingly easy to dial in. The Syntakt does all the sequencing because it was faster to program the song that way using the excellent Song Mode.
